#SOLO: Palaboy sa CEBU

Here is the account of my solo travel in Cebu for those people who are asking how I get through with my first solo adventure. You can also find the contact persons I contacted to make my adventure a successful one.

Actual Itinerary and Expenses
Day 1 - Cebu City Tour
10:45AM - Arrival at Mactan - Cebu Airport (delayed departure in MNL)
10:50AM - Ride a taxi going to JY Square (P230*)
12:00NN - Arrival at JY Square, lunch
12:30PM - Hire habal-habal to get you to Sirao, and Busay, Cebu
01:15PM - ETA Sirao Flower Farm, pay entrance fee (P20)
01:30PM - ETD going to Tops Skyline Garden** 
02:00PM - ETA Tops Skyline Garden, pay entrance fee (P100)
02:30PM - ETD going to Busay, Temple of Leah
02:45PM - ETA Temple of Leah, pay entrance fee (P50)
03:15PM - ETD going back to JY Square, go to Downtown
03:45PM - ETA Downtown, explore

I went straight to JY Square after I arrived in Mactan-Cebu International Airport. Outside Mcdonald's you will see habal-habal drivers waiting.

I gave P550 for the whole ride.

At 5pm, I ate my merienda and then decided to travel to Alegria via Ceres Bus in South Cebu Bus Terminal (SCBT). I just asked for directions and walked in the city for about 10-15mins. Bus Fare is P150

Walked 10-15 minutes from Mcdonald's P. Burgos to South Cebu Bus Terminal.

* You may opt to ride a jeepney to exit the Airport. I chose to ride a taxi because of the hot temperature in the city that day.
** Tops Skyline Garden would be great during sunset and at night to see the overlooking of the City.

01:45PM - ETA Panagsama Beach, rent snorkeling equipment and vest for sardine run (P200)
02:30PM - ETD going to Malabuyoc, Mainit Springs
03:45PM - ETA Malabuyoc, Mainit Springs, pay entrance fee (P20)
04:15PM - ETD going to Osmeña Peak
05:15PM - ETA Osmeña Peak, entrance fee (P20), trek for 10-15mins, wait for sunset
06:15PM - ETD going back to Alegria
07:30PM - ETA Alegria, dinner
08:30PM - ETD going to Oslob, ride bus going to Bato (P50), transfer bus going to Oslob (P20)

For my Canyoneering, I contacted Sir Mark Yong. You can contact him in Facebook or in this number #63936-562-3999. I paid P1,500 for this one since I'm not joining any group that day.

To maximize my time, I did not opt to ride buses going one place to another. I asked Sir Mark if he can ask a habal-habal rider to help me with my itinerary. I paid P1,150 for my transfers going to Moalboal-Malabuyoc-Dalaguete and back to Alegria. Contact: Kuya Rodel +63936-244-1640

Total Expenses (flight not included): ~P7,500

You can do better in this itinerary, just do more research on whereabouts of the places you wish to visit. This is my first time in Cebu so I want to maximize my time during my stay. You can skip the habal-habal or better find someone who can share with your expenses.

@Eyna sorry for late reply d ko masyado navisit tong blog ko naging busy lang.. 1,150 pesos yung binayaran ko for the guide (P800 ung OPeak since solo ako, 300 yung sa papuntang Moalboal.. tapos nanghingi na lang ng dagdag para sa Mainit Springs sa Malabuyoc ung guide.. sya rin guide ko sa canyoneering hehe)
